Depart USA
from New York (JFK) airport for your flight to Cairo, all meals and beverages served on
board flight.

|
Arrive Cairo
where you will be met by our representative who will help you with your immigration and
customs formalities, later transfer to your cruise ship in Cairo for check-in. Your home
for the next 14 nights. Dinner and overnight. (D)

|
After
breakfast drive to Memphis on the edge of the western desert, the capital of the ancient
kingdom, and one of the most important cities throughout the history of ancient Egypt.
From here we drive to Sakkara, the vast necropolis of ancient Memphis. Lunch during tour.
P.M. Drive to the Pyramids of Giza. Cheop's Pyramid, the largest of the three, was built
in the 3rd Dynasty about 2690 BC., and is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
In front of the Pyramid of Chephren, we find the Sphinx carved from a single piece of
stone, it is a lion with a pharaoh's head thought to be a portrait of the Pharaoh
Chephren. Return to your cruise ship for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

|
Breakfast,
then start your tour visiting the Egyptian Museum famous for its antiquities from Egypt's
Pharaonic Period, which dates back some 50 centuries and includes the fabulous treasures
of King Tut-Ankh-Amon. Afternoon excursion to Old Cairo, visiting the very old Coptic
Churches and the oldest Jewish Synagogue of Beni Ezra. Lunch on board your cruise. P.M.
Continue your visit at the Mohammed Ali Mosque and the Citadel of Salah-el-Din and the
medieval bazaars of Khan-el-Khalili. Where you can bargain for your jewelry and
hand-tooled leather items. Return to your cruise ship for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Breakfast,
then sail to Ben Mazar. Later continue our sail from Ben Mazar to Beni Hasan. Lunch,

Breakfast,
then visit the Tombs of Beni Hasan, the most important necropolis between Asyut and
Memphis. There is about 39 tombs dating back to the 11th and 12th Dynasty. Sail from Beni
Hasan to Tel-el-Amarna. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board cruise ship. (B, L, D)

|
Breakfast and visit the Ay's
Tomb which is considered to be the finest tomb remaining in the necropolis. The drawings
show Ay and his wife receiving gold collars from Akhenaten and Nefertiti, from there to
Huya's or Yuyu Tomb, who was the steward of Queen Tiyi, the Queen Mother and wife of
Amenhotep III. A royal banquet is located to the left and right of the main hall., then
visit Meri-Re II who was the superintendent of the Palace of Queen Nefertiti and onto
Meri-Re I who was a high rank Priest of Aton. Continue our tour visiting Panhesy who was
the Chief Servitor of the Aton in Akhenaten. The facade that decorated the outside of his
tomb is still preserved. Lunch, dinner on board cruise ship. Sail to Asyut. (B, L, D)

Breakfast and
sail to Qena and to Dendarah. Arrive Dendarah, then visit the Temple of Dendarah built in
the first century BC for the Goddess Hathor, that of Beauty, Love and Joy. It has a unique
zodiac painting on its ceiling. Continue our sailing to Abidos, to visit the Temple of
Abidos which is a Greco-Roman temple that lies about 40 miles north of Luxor. The temple
was first initiated by Ptolemy III with numerous additions by subsequent Roman Ptolemaic
rulers. It houses a famous painting of Queen Cleopatra, and Caesarion, her son from Julius
Caesar. The temple is renowned for its horoscope inscriptions. Sail to Luxor. Lunch,

|
Breakfast,
then cross to the west bank, visit the necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings and
Valley of the Queens including Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, the Tomb of
the Nobles and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board your cruise
ship. Sail to Aswan. (B, L, D)

|
Breakfast,
arrive Aswan, then you will be met and transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight to
Abu-Simbel. Upon arrival at Abu-Simbel Airport, you will be transferred to visit the Great
Temple, hewn in the rock, with the four colossal seated statues of the King in front of
the entrance, it was dedicated to Amun-Ra, the Horakkhti, and Ramses II. Then visit King's
wife temple which was threatened by the waters on the completion of the Aswan High Dam
have been preserved by International Action organized by "Unesco". All of the
parts of the temple (statues, inscribed slabs, etc) have been rebuilt on a plateau above
the former site. Return back to Abu-Simbel Airport for your flight back to Aswan, upon
arrival at Aswan Airport, you will be met and transferred back to your cruise ship. Lunch,
dinner and overnight on board cruise ship. (B, L, D)

Breakfast,
then visit the Botanical Gardens and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by felucca. Continue our tour
to visit the Temple of Philae, the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Unfinished
Obelisk. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board cruise. Sail to Edfu. (B, L, D)

Breakfast,
then visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Kom-Ombo, visit the temple shared by the
two gods Sobek and Harories. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board cruise. (B, L, D)

Breakfast and
sail from Esna to Luxor, visit the newly opened magnificent Tomb of Nefertari, it consists
of 25 chambers and it houses the sons of King Ramses II. Balance of day at leisure in

|
Breakfast,
lunch, then visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Disembark your cruise ship
in Luxor where you will be met and transferred to the historical Old Winter Palace Hotel.
Lunch. Balance of day at leisure. P.M. You will be met and transferred to attend the
magnificent Sound and Light Show. Dinner and overnight in Luxor. (B, L, D)

Breakfast and
morning at leisure. Lunch, then you will be met and transferred to Luxor Airport for your
return flight to Cairo. Arrive Cairo where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

|
Breakfast,
then drive to visit the Pyramid of Maidum was originally a seven-stepped pyramid. It was
enlarged to an eight-stepped pyramid. Eventually the steps were filled in and a smooth
outer facing turned it into a true pyramid. It is a huge structure that is surrounded by
the debris from the casing that collapsed. The Maidum Pyramid is thought to have been
started by Huni, the last ruler of the 3rd Dynasty and then completed by his son Sneferu.
Sneferu was the first 4th Dynasty Pharaoh. (2613-2494 BC). A little north from the Maidum
Pyramid is the remains of the Seila Step Pyramid, it is made of limestone and is thought
to be from the 2nd Dynasty. Lunch. From there we drive to Dhashur to visit the Red Pyramid
and the Bent Pyramid. The constructor of these pyramids is thought to have been Sneferu.
Sneferu is thought as well to have built the Pyramid of Maidum. His son was Cheops who
continued his constructive tendencies. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B,

Breakfast and
morning at leisure. Lunch at your hotel. P.M. You will be met and transferred to attend
the magnificent Sound and Light Show at the Giza Plateau. Later transfer back to your
hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Breakfast,
then you will be met by our representative and transferred to Cairo Airport, where you
will be helped with your check-in and immigration formalities for your flight back home.
